Built the same way
The foundation is shared.
The material is your choice.
The cabinet case is the structure behind the doors: its sides, back, bottom, supports and shelving. Every collection follows the same Gipman construction standards, with the interior material specified for your collection.

White melamine cabinet case shown without fronts. The notched side panels allow a continuous toe-kick facing to run beneath adjoining cabinets.
Included across all collections
- 5/8-inch cabinet box and adjustable shelf material
- Matching PVC edge banding on visible edges
- Integrated toe kicks
- Soft-closing door hardware
- Full-extension, soft-closing drawer hardware
Full extension helps you reach items at the back of a drawer. Soft closing brings doors and drawers gently to a close. The recessed toe kick provides space for your feet at the base of the cabinets.
White melamine, Classic Maple melamine and birch plywood have different appearances and material characteristics. The shared construction standard does not mean the materials are identical.
Know your materials
Your starting point. More possibilities.
These materials form our standard pricing starting points. Your options extend beyond them, with specialty wood species available to create the look you have in mind.
Fused Laminate
A decorative surface fused to a wood-based panel. Its colours and wood-inspired finishes offer a contemporary look and form the starting point for our Essentials collection. A woodgrain appearance is not solid wood.
Stained Maple Or Painted HDF
Stain highlights maple’s natural grain and variation. HDF—high-density fibreboard—provides a smooth painted expression. Maple and HDF are our baseline-priced options for Core and Designer cabinetry.
Explore specialty wood species
All wood species are an option to explore with your advisor. Species beyond our maple baseline are upgrades and generally place a project within Architect pricing. Your selected species, finish and project details determine the final investment.
View physical finishes with your advisor to compare grain, colour and texture, and confirm availability and pricing for your preferred species.
Organization, your way
Any collection. Any accessory series.
Choose storage by how you use your kitchen and the finish you prefer. Essentials cabinetry can include Contemporary or Craftsman accessories, and Architect cabinetry can include Everyday accessories. The names do not limit your choices.
Accessory availability depends on cabinet dimensions and configuration. Your advisor will confirm compatibility and identify selected add-ons in your investment analysis.
Make it your own
Invest in the details that matter to you.
Your collection provides a starting specification. From there, your advisor can help you consider optional dovetail drawers, storage accessories and finishing details around the way you live.
Use your investment analysis to compare your project’s options. Your proposal will identify the selections and upgrades included, along with their cost.
