Delivery Driver

Gipman Kitchens and Cabinetry is looking for a motivated, experienced Delivery Driver responsible for the delivery of cabinetry products over established routes. Responsibilities will include the correct loading of the vehicle, recording of delivery information, and ensuring overall vehicle safety. The Delivery Driver will be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road, and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures.

Shop Assistant

This position will work as a shop hand and general labourer (no experience required). Their main shop tasks will include assembling and loading wooden cabinets and other products for delivery. He or she will produce quality cabinets to specification by learning to read shop drawings and learning to use hand tools and woodworking machines in a manufacturing environment. This person will be responsible for learning and practicing safe working methods, and have a strong willingness to learn about shop practices, procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, quality control and safety equipment. Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy work area, conducting regular maintenance of tools and machinery and assisting other senior carpenters and cabinetmakers as needed. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.


Cabinetry Installer

The Cabinetry Installer will be responsible for commercial and residential onsite installations of Gipman Millwork cabinets, countertops, and other architectural millwork materials. He or she will be tasked with cleaning and preparing worksites, removing items to be replaced, completing required installations using a variety of craft skills including carpentry and general construction knowledge. The Cabinetry Installer must be capable and adept at using a variety of equipment, including power and hand tools.
